Whetū Necklace

This Whetū necklace is part of the wider Whenua jewellery range, grounding your day with whenua from Aotearoa. The deep red of the whenua links back to kōkōwai, a special material used in Aotearoa for generations, this time on a special starry piece just for you!

The pendant has been hand carved and casted, with inset whenua secured with resin.

• Whenua is from Kapanga Coromandel Town, Te Patukirikiri rohe.
• Sterling silver pendant, chain and clasp.
• Pendant: 2cm x 1.5cm x 0.4cm
• Chain: 55cm
• Resin is highly durable, though care should be taken to not leave sitting in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time and avoid swimming/showering with these pieces on.
