These Te Kore sleepers are from the wider Whenua jewellery range, grounding your day with whenua from Aotearoa.The black peat-like whenua is for the dirt goths who love to rep the whenua.
This piece has been has been hand carved, casted in silver and given a brushed/textured finish before setting the whenua with resin.
- Whenua is from Waiotahe beach, collected while on wananga with the Kauae Raro Reasearch collective. This whenua is significant to Ngāti Awa, Whakatōhea, Upokorehe, and Tūhoe iwi.
- 14mm Sterling silver sleepers
- Charms: 1.5cm x 1cm
- Resin is highly durable, though care should be taken to not leave sitting in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time and avoid swimming/showering with these pieces on.
