Checker Ipu

This ipu (box) is perfect for holding jewellery, but really, anything precious and small.

It has a special nerikomi checker pattern on top with matching checkers in the base of the ipu.

Nerikomi is a Japanese clay technique where different coloured clay is used together to create patterns.

This is a unique, one off piece.

• Stoneware clay with clear glaze
